About Us

My name is Pete DeMaat, I'm the owner of Blade Runner Lawn Care. All my life, I've had 2 goals. 1: become a United States Marine, and 2: Own my own lawn care company. In 2017, I was able to cross the first off my list when I enlisted to be in the USMC Infantry. The 4 years I served in the Marines were some of the most important, honoring, and in some cases humbling years of my life. I wouldn't trade my experiences, and knowledge gained for anything.

I've always had a passion to serve. Not only my country, but my community as well. After serving in the military, I decided I was time to chase my second goal.

I've loved mowing the lawn since I was about 9 years old, and of the 6 kids in my family, I was the only one who took on the responsibility of maintaining the grass on my family's farm. My passion grew for yardwork at a very young age, and I knew this was something I wanted to do since middle school.

So that all leads me to where I am today. In 2023, I established Blade Runner Lawn Care LLC. I understand the importance of hard work, quality, and integrity, and strive to fulfill those every day.

I'm very thankful and blessed with all God as given me in my life. For without him, I am nothing. Blade Runner Lawn Care doesn't define who I am, but instead is a reminder of what God has graciously given and blessed me with.
